Brazil Postpones SISTRAM Communications

The Brazilian Maritime Authority has advised that the commencement of the new SISTRAM communications system has been postponed for at least 90 days, and will therefore not be in effect from October 15, as previously announced.

The Brazilian Navy will discuss this matter with the maritime sector, including the National Shipping Agency Association, to determine who will be responsible for the input of information in the SYSTRAM IV through the webpage.
