DNB Bank ASA won the Ship Finance Award at the Seatrade Asia Awards 2012 held in Singapore April 23, 2012. Held at the Shangri-La Hotel Singapore ballroom, the venue attracted 300 senior shipping executives attending the dinner.
A Who’s Who in the maritime community gathered for a night of networking and merrymaking and more importantly to witness the crowning of winners in the Seatrade Asia Awards 2012.
The award is based on votes cast by a panel of senior industry leaders and reflects the high quality standards achieved by the company. The panel of judges evaluated entries based on the following criteria:
• Asian book of business
• Range of financial solutions
• Regional network and team strength
• Restructuring services
• Commitment to research in Asia
DNB won the ship finance award after beating off some stiff competition from regional and international rivals. The bank was picked by an independent panel of advisors selected by organisers Seatrade.
