Yacht Race Around Hong Kong

A large-scale yacht race will take place around Hong Kong Island on November 16, 2014 (Sunday). About 220 yachts are expected to participate in the race.

The yachts will set off at staggered times between 0815 hours and 0930 hours off the Causeway Bay Typhoon Shelter, sailing around Hong Kong Island in a clockwise direction, and finish the race off the Causeway Bay Typhoon Shelter by 1700 hours.

Masters, coxswains and persons-in-charge of vessels navigating in the vicinity of the race route should proceed with caution, giving practical consideration to the contestants. Compliance with the provisions of the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea 1972 is mandatory.
