The U.S. Coast Guard is soliciting nominations for the 2010 William M. Benkert Marine Environmental Protection Awards. The awards, named for the late Rear Admiral Benkert, USCG, recognize organizations for outstanding achievements in all aspects of marine environmental protection. Applications must be submitted by March 1, 2010. The Awards Ceremony will be in June 2010. (11/23/09).
