Watson Named VP at Torqeedo

Expanding its international team of executives, Torqeedo has name Tom Watson as Vice President, global accounts. In this newly-created position, Watson will bring his years of marine industry experience to the young company, managing aspects of Torqeedo's business from product launches to major accounts.

Watson most recently spent 20 years with Yanmar Diesel, where he focused on building its global brand. He first joined the marine industry in Annapolis, Maryland where he managed the largest Zodiac dealership in North America and spent ten years in the outboard engine business with Outboard Marine Corporation.

"Electric boating offers a unique, simple and sustainable boating experience," said Watson. "Torqeedo has always led the movement toward clean mobility and I believe as more people experience electric, the opportunities will grow exponentially."
