Viega Hires Carriere as Technical Manager

Viega LLC has appointed Clint Carriere as its newest technical manager for shipbuilding and offshore for the Gulf territory.

 
In this position, Carriere is responsible for growing the shipbuilding and offshore market, presenting to engineering firms to secure specifications for press fittings for major projects, maintaining current business and searching for new business and providing technical support to distributors within the Gulf Coast and inland waterways. 
 
Carriere brings more than eight years of industry experience to the position. Prior to joining Viega, he worked as an account manager at W&O Supply, where he worked closely with major drilling contractors, production companies and shipyards.
 
Carriere earned an associate’s degree in hospitality and marketing from the University of Louisiana. He lives in Houston, and is an active volunteer for a number of organizations. Carriere was awarded a ribbon by the U.S. Army for his service with the National Guard.
