Universal Silencer Now Universal

January 27, 2010

On December 8, 2009 at the International Power Generation Conference, Universal Silencer announced changing its name to Universal. Universal’s President, Randy Eppli, said, “Over the past 5 years we have seen an ever increasing demand from our customers to help them be more environmentally conscious and meet higher air quality standards for exhaust emissions. This demand from our customers and the marketplace has driven the development of our core technologies within engine, blower, fan, compressor and vent acoustics and emissions. Therefore, the name Universal Silencer communicates only a part of our capabilities.” Eppli continued, “The name change also helps support our mission of providing clean, quiet technology for the world’s energy needs.”
