American-owned NVOCC Troy Container Line Ltd. has established a Team Leader Division, aiming to ensure quality services in both the FCL and LCL export departments, the company announced today.

The launch of this newly established division is marked with the promotion of four key employees: Courtney Bertinato, Brian O’Malley, Chris Palmeri and Patrick O’Neill. Based in the company’s Red Bank, N.J. headquarters, this division will work with various teams including the warehousing, sales and documentation staff to ensure the superior customer service for which the company is known in both the FCL and LCL Export departments.

Promoted to LCLCustomer Service Team Leader, O’Malley’s role includes daily agent communications with various countries around the world, as well as booking, tracking and tracing cargo. Prior to joining the Troy Container Line team, O’Malley worked in both the FCL and LCL fields. He is a graduate of West Virginia University and currently resides in Monmouth County, N.J.

Having joined the Troy team in 2012, Bertinato’s new role as the LCLDocumentation Team Leader, focuses on country of origin forms, revisions and documentations.  Bertinato is a graduate of Mount St. Mary College.

As the newly appointed LCL Operations Team Leader, Palmeri is dedicated to providing clients with personalized customer service. His knowledge of the logistics industry stems from his more than 10 years of experience in the transportation sector. Prior to joining the Troy Container Line team, Palmeri specialized in creating bill of landing documents for vendors to move freight across the country. The international operations department at Troy Container Line was a natural progression after working in domestic logistics.

O’Neill, the company’s new FCL Customer Service Team Leader, will coordinate with contracted carriers to ensure Troy Container Line provides competitive rates and that all rates are updated promptly within Troy’s upgraded internal rate request and booking systems. O’Neill will work to identify individual customer needs to build stronger working relationships with clients and secure new business opportunities for the company. He is a graduate of Lafayette College.
