International logistics solutions provider Trans Global Projects Ltd (TGP) celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2018.

TGP was founded on January 4, 1988 by Julian Clarke, Nick Harsant and Colin Charnock, who is the Group’s managing director. Headquartered in the U.K., TGP’s service portfolio comprises activities such as project logistics management, supply chain management, ship chartering, aviation logistics, logistics consultancy and procurement, which are delivered through a network of 20 offices across the world.

At its foundation in 1988, TGP was a subsidiary company of the Trans Global Group, one of the U.K.’s largest independent multi-modal transportation organisations. In 2007, Breezeline International Group Ltd, a co-investor since the start, acquired full ownership of the TGP group of companies.

Across the past 30 years, TGP has been responsible for the successful handling of innumerable projects for the oil and gas, metal and mining, power generation and petrochemical industries, working in some of the most remote areas of the world.

In 2015, TGP acquired the international forwarder Natco AG, which is based in Ruemlang/Zuerich (Switzerland). With this move, TGP has complemented its service portfolio with general forwarding activities and further enhanced its position to serve the crucial European markets of Germany, France and Italy, in addition to Switzerland.
