Lifting Gear Hire (LGH) and Industrial Training International (ITI) have partnered to offer training for prospective rigging students. ITI will offer both network training courses – Rigging Gear Inspector Levels I & II and Lift Director & Critical Lift Planning – to students, faculty and seasoned professionals alike. Both courses will be taught inside Lifting Gear Hire’s warehouse in Bridgeview, Ill. where students will have access to LGH’s 100,000 square foot state-of-the-art warehouse which provides ample room for ITI classes of varying sizes. Students also get to observe the behind the scenes processes of testing, inspecting and certifying equipment.

Additionally, students who complete the Rigging Gear Inspector course will receive a three-year qualification and earn their CEUs. All ITI courses and instructors are LEEA Accredited and lunch will be serve daily to all students. The courses will be taught by ITI’s Mike Parnell, who’s been working in the rigging industry since 1979.

LGH and ITI said they teamed up to offer these courses because both companies understand the real world challenges riggers face every day. Both entities know the importance of offering quality equipment to ensure a safe and successful project every time. Collectively, LGH and ITI’s mission is to educate riggers on and expose them to the world’s safest equipment to better prepare them today for the rigging challenges of tomorrow.

The course dates for Rigging Gear Inspector will be on December 7-9, 2015 and December 14-16, 2015. Pricing for the class is $1,695.
