The first superyacht inspired sculpture designed by Tim Heywood has sold just days after it was displayed and signed on the Yachting Pages stand at Monaco Yacht Show.

Marek Landa, managing director of Crystal Caviar contacted Yachting pages and the Superyacht Owners’ Guide announcing the sale. The luxury yacht chandelier and glass art company had several other premium sculptures from Crystal Caviar artists on display at MYS including sculptures from Mr Frydrych and Mrs Likeela, Mr Nebesky and Mr Beranek.

These were exhibited at 8 different stands around the show, along with sculptures, art panels and chandeliers which decorated the interiors of Eurocopter, M/Y Quatroelle, M/Y Oxyzen, M/Y Apostrophe and M/Y Anastasia. Other pieces were also found on more than 10 other yachts in the port of Monaco during the show.

The signing took place on September 27 using an electronic engraving tool and was witnessed by visitors to the show and industry press.

Sarrah Macey, marketing and events executive at Yachting Pages and the Superyacht Owners' Guide added, “It was a great honor to host the sculpture and to receive Tim to our stand. I am so pleased that this has resulted in his beautiful sculpture going to a new home and that boat show visitors were able to see Tim’s design in all its glory.”

The sculpture called ‘Floating Crystal’ and was made by leading yacht chandelier and glass art company, Crystal Caviar. A second sculpture entitled ‘Floating Crystal Silver’ is also for sale and if you are interested please contact Sarrah Macey on +44(0)1173 160560 or [email protected]
