Steam Boiler Contract for Parat Halvorsen

Tersan Shipyard, Turkey, awards contract for four fishing-trawler steam boilers to Parat Havorsen.

The boiler plants will be equipped with Parat combined oil fired and exhaust gas boilers, type MCS, to comply steam production for the freezer trawlers fishmeal and fish oil factory. The exhaust gas section is specially designed for high steam production during low load on the ship’s engine.

The steam boilers are for Tersan Shipyards' stern trawlers ST-116 new-buildings, which are of a modern design enabling all the fish harvesting to be done on board, while meeting the strictest emissions requirements.

The four new buildings, contracted by Strand Havfiske AS, Giske Havfiske AS and AS  Andenes Havfiskeselskap, will have a length of approx 75 m, with of 15,4m beam, and will have accommodation for approx 30 crew members.
