Pipeline engineering specialist STATS Group said it has appointed two new directors as part of a strategy to increase its international presence in key oil and gas regions.

The newly created roles see Dave Vernon promoted to Director of Isolation Services and Dale Millward promoted to Director of EPRS & Subsea Services. (EPRS – Emergency Pipeline Repair Systems)

Dave Vernon has been with STATS for 14 years in a range of senior roles and has managed major UKCS and international isolation and intervention projects. Dale Millward joined STATS in 2005 and has been integral in developing the company’s design, development and delivery of pipeline isolation, repair and recovery solutions.

STATS Group chief executive officer, Pete Duguid, said, “Both appointments are a direct result of the steady growth the business has enjoyed in the U.K. and internationally, and also recognize the important contributions Dave and Dale have made to our operations over the years.

“Dave Vernon has had unlimited exposure to all aspects of our business portfolio and we will put that to good use in supporting and developing our isolation business streams. Dale Millward’s extensive knowledge of subsea construction, commissioning, inspection and repair technologies, positions him as a pipeline and subsea expert who can add value for our clients.

“Both will play key technical roles in liaising with clients on major projects and they will significantly improve our business development initiatives, while their wealth of experience will be used as a global resource that our engineers, technicians and clients can tap into.”
