SNAME Rename Annual Meeting & Expo

February 17, 2014

The Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (SNAME) inform that its Annual Meeting & Expo has been renamed the SNAME Maritime Convention (SMC), to further address relevant issues across the maritime industry, including ship production, repair, and operations, as well as suppliers and supply chain management.

The Society adds that there will continue to be a Ship Production Symposium (SPS) element to the SMC with separate agenda tracks for SPS-oriented papers, and NSRP will continue to work with SNAME in coordinating this aspect of the meeting.
