Global oil and gas, marine, construction, mining and power industries staffing company Worldwide Recruitment Solutions (WRS) Ltd have moved into larger premises in Singapore to support their growing APAC team. The WRS Singapore office launched in early 2015 and are now looking to triple their size operationally to meet market demands after a number of key client and project wins in the Asia Pacific region. In particular WRS are now launching their Singapore Marine division, alongside key offerings within construction and commodities trading.

To support this growth, WRS have recently moved into larger premises - the 50th floor of the AXA Tower; Singapore’s sixth tallest tower and the world’s tallest cylindrical building.

Philip Shepherd, WRS’ APAC Regional Director, said, “On the back of the global successes within our Marine division with key wins across the APAC region we are also launching our Marine division in Singapore. The division, alongside contract and permanent solutions, will specialize in Managed Services (Crew Management) within the shipping and crewing sectors to assist in the management of our global contracts and also to further develop and support our local client base in Singapore and the Asia region.

“In the coming months WRS Singapore will also be launching operating divisions within Construction and Commodities Trading. These are offerings which we feel will enable us to better support our growing client base in a wider range of markets, supporting our current APAC offerings in Oil & Gas and Energy sectors. We are looking to make a number of key hires within these divisions over the coming months in line with our global growth strategy.

“Due to the planned integration of the Marine division, launch of the Construction and Commodities Trading divisions and planned hires for 2016/17 we are tripling our size and therefore expanding our regional Headquarters to accommodate this growth, moving the office base of our operations to the AXA tower building based in the CBD area closer to our clients.“
