NewAge Software & Solutions, a global service provider of integrated, cloud-based or hosted, enterprise systems applications for freight forwarding (FF) and logistics companies, announced the appointment of Tommy Shou as their Western Region Account Manager. Based in California, Tommy will head up the sales effort targeted to logistics companies involved with Asia- Pacific trade, as well as other logistics service providers in the western region. Tommy is fluent in the Chinese dialects of Mandarin and Cantonese and has an extensive software and logistics background.

Most recently, Shou was Account Manager for a global freight forwarding software provider, where he was responsible for inside and external sales. Prior to this position, he was Vice President, Branch Sales Manager for Cohesion Freight USA, and General Manager of ALC Technical Corporation. His logistics experience also includes positions with MOL Logistics USA, and Kuehne and Nagel.

Tommy, with his vast logistics and software background, is the right person to assist us in our expansion, said Michael Sinclair, President of NewAge Software & Solutions. “Considering the economic challenges logistics companies face today, we’re delivering a more cost efficient system that includes NewAge’s 3-tier architecture, cloud-based server system. It only requires a plain browser to work on the application,” continued Sinclair.

Earlier this year, NewAge Software & Solutions announced their entrance into the North American market. Michael Sinclair, President of NewAge is leading the company’s expansion.
