Service to Honor Crew Lost on El Faro

A memorial service honoring the 33 crew members lost at sea when the cargo ship El Faro went missing amid Hurricane Joaquin will be held Thursday morning in Port Everglades, Fla.

 
Joined with a number of other maritime organizations to honor those men and women aboard El Faro, a multi-faith memorial service will be conducted by Chaplain Father Ronald Perkins of Seafarers’ House.
 
The service will be held Thursday, Oct. 15 at 11:30 a.m. at Port Everglades, Terminal 26.
