Mill Log Equipment Company DBA Twin Disc Mid-Atlantic hire Scott Schmitz as Territory Manager for the Northern Mid-Atlantic States.

Twin Disc’s newest full service distributor, announce the hiring of Scott Schmitz as the Territory Manager for the Northern Mid-Atlantic States to include, Eastern Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware and Washington DC.

Scott will operate out of the newly established sales office in the Pennsylvania region and will be an extension of the Chesapeake, Virginia location. Scott will work closely with the entire team to uphold Mill Log Group of Companies commitment to customer satisfaction and will report directly to Mill Log Equipment Group of Companies’ Director of Sales & Marketing, Don Lindsey.

Scott has a vast amount of experience with electrical and mechanical systems in the workboat and pleasure-craft markets. In addition to working for several highly successful service organizations, Scott has owned and operated his own independent marine service company.  Most recently Scott owned a successful business that specialized in renewable energy options specifically for the marine industry.

Mill Log Group of Companies, based in Coburg, Oregon, with North American operations in Chesapeake, VA; Rock Hill, SC; Kent, Washington; Burnaby, British Columbia; and, Edmonton, Alberta, is a heavy-duty transmission and component supplier to the marine and industrial markets.
