Possible Delays at Cape Town Rig Docks

June 26, 2014

Delays to general shipping at Cape Town are possible today, June 26, as the oil rig Scarabeo 7 will be docking, weather permitting, GAC reported in its daily Hot Port News report.

The rig is being brought into port after experiencing technical problems outside the port limits.

Cape Town's Deputy Harbor Master advised that efforts will be made to keep delays to a minimum.
