UK yachtbuilders Oyster launch two new models, the Oyster 725 and Oyster 885 at Amsterdam and Southampton boatshows.

Both yachts have just completed fit out at the Oyster Yachts build facility in Southampton, England, and are now being rigged and fully commissioned ahead of their boat show debuts. Oyster 725-01 will make her European première at the Amsterdam Seaport Show before heading back across the North Sea to go on display at the PSP Southampton Boat Show before handover to her new owner.

The first Oyster 885 is being built for Eddie Jordan’s family trust, who have traded up from their previous Oyster 655, and will be heading straight for the Caribbean after she is premièred during the Southampton Boat Show. She will then disappear into the Pacific with the Oyster World Rally.

The largest Oyster in the builder's core range, the new Oyster 885 has been designed by Rob Humphreys as the perfect solution for those who would like to share the  pleasure of cruising aboard one of these magnificent yachts - with the potential to recover some of the investment involved by chartering. By designing her up to the limit of the MCA 24m Load Line Length watershed, the somewhat more onerous and costly requirements involved before offering any larger yacht for charter are avoided.
