Obituary: Former Port Executive Letitia Cecconi

July 31, 2014

Letitia Burgess Cecconi, who served as an assistant director at the Port of Redwood City in the 1970s and early 1980s, died July 5 at the age of 78. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Richard, daughters Caroline Cecconi and Linda Goodman, her son-in-law Jordan Goodman, her grandchildren, Jessica Carabarin and Katelyn Goodman, her sister Joyce Eaneff and many nieces and nephews.

After retirement, she devoted herself to the care of feral cats in her Emerald Hills neighborhood - never missing one day of feeding in more than 20 years, according to her family.

Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or local animal shelters.
