On November 21st, NYMAR (New York Maritime, Inc.) will be celebrating its 10 year anniversary at the offices of Seward & Kissel (1 Battery Place, New York).  It was 10 years ago that a group of maritime attorneys, concerned about the changes in business either coming to New York, or originating there, that prompted them to create an organization whose mission is to promote the New York Maritime Cluster (New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut) as a lucrative and productive forum for international maritime business.

From the original group, NYMAR has expanded to nearly 70 members from all aspects of the maritime world.

"NYMAR has served to create awareness about the extensive, and comprehensive, services available in the New York Maritime Cluster." stated NYMAR Chairman Clay Maitland.  "We truly are the "Capital for Shipping."

All are welcome to attend on November 21st from 5:30-7:30 to mark this extraordinary achievement and help celebrate "The Capital for Shipping".   To attend, please go to NYMAR or call +203 255 4686.  Charge for NYMAR members is $50 and for non-members $75.
