NSRP Research Calls for Project Proposals

October 11, 2009

The National Shipbuilding Research Program Executive Control Board has approved release of a Research Announcement for project proposals to support the Program goal of reducing the cost of building and maintaining U.S.Navy ships. The value of the project portfolio to be selected will depend on final Fiscal Year 2010 budget decisions, but is expected to be in the $10m to $12m range.

Unlike previous NSRP solicitations, this cycle will include mandatory submission of short project proposal abstracts. Further details will be included in the Research Announcement which will be released on Monday, October 12, 2009.  It will be posted on-line at FedBizOpps, and on the NSRP website, www.nsrp.org, additional guidance, including the NSRP Strategic Investment Plan and Proposal Preparation Kit, will also be available at www.nsrp.org
