PMI Names New Senior Project Engineer

Al Schiazza, PE, a licensed professional engineer, is the latest member of the PMI Industries, Inc. engineering team. In this position as a senior project engineer for PMI, Mr. Schiazza will be responsible for managing, developing, testing and designing of the company's subsea cable hardware and services.

Mr. Schiazza is an experienced senior manager and design engineer with a history of problem solving in various industries including medical, wastewater, plumbing, power tool and appliance markets. In that time, he developed six U.S. patents for commercial products. He is skilled in product design, project management, strategic planning, design/production analysis, design for manufacturing and enterprise research planning.

His education, certifications and memberships include Licensed Professional Engineer, Master of Science from the University of Connecticut, Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, Society of Manufacturing Engineers and Technical Consultants certification, and membership in the Project Management Institute.
