BMT’s Cox Named Environmental Committee Chairman at SAME

Maritime design, engineering and risk management consultancy BMT Designers & Planners, a subsidiary of BMT Group, announced that its Vice-President, Rick Cox, has been appointed as the Environmental Committee Chairman for the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME).  

 
The SAME Environmental Committee seeks to enhance professionalism, create value for the civil service and military members by providing training and a forum for exchanging ideas.
 
Commenting on his appointment, Cox said, “SAME is one of the most influential professional societies here in the U.S., and I am delighted to have this opportunity to support the Environmental Committee in achieving its objectives.”
 
As a member of the Association’s National Board of Direction, Cox is responsible for building engagement opportunities with the environmental industry and establishing professional development activities.
