Mercury Marine Appoints Bass to Head EMEA Operations

Mercury Marine announced that Marty Bass has been appointed President - EMEA Mercury Marine, effective immediately.

Bass, who previously was vice president of Mercury's product category management group based at Mercury headquarters in Fond du Lac, succeeds Mike Shedivy, who has lead EMEA – Mercury Marine since 2013.   Shedivy will join Life Fitness, another unit of Brunswick Corporation, as its vice president - global commercial category management and product development.

Bass joined Mercury Marine in 2006 and holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois,  a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy’s postgraduate school as well as an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
