McGuigan Named Operations Manager at Aberdeen Harbor

Aberdeen Harbor Board has appointed John McGuigan to the newly created role of Operations Manager.

The role will see McGuigan plan, direct and control the full spectrum of land based operational activities within the port, while working with others, including customers, port users and the harbor’s safety department, in delivering a safe working environment for all. 

Having been involved in the port industry for more than 30 years, McGuigan started his career with British Steel and has since worked for Clydeport, Peel Ports and was previously the E.ON UK terminal manager in Liverpool, handling fuel logistics for a number of power stations.
