Maritime Legal Firms Announce Merger

Houston- and New Orleans-based law firm Bland & Partners P.L.L.C. announced that Crain Wilson, P.L.L.C.’s Houston office merged with its firm as of July 1, 2014.

The merger results in growth for the firm, including the addition of six attorneys and four legal support staff, as well as expanding its client base. The firm is currently home to 31 attorneys and legal staff. Crain Wilson attorneys joining Bland & Partners include Susan Noe Wilson, Deborah Busby, Doug Hammond, Michael Hogue, Tom Deen and Of Counsel Alan Folger.

The merger builds upon the decades of collective experience in the areas of admiralty/maritime, marine and energy construction, transportation, commercial litigation and insurance. The merger joins attorneys with well-recognized reputations for excellence and professionalism as well as common core values and a commitment to zealous representation of clients.
