Superyacht destination Marina Port Vell (MPV), Barcelona, Spain, was the sponsor of the recent Pinmar Golf Tournament, played from October 9-11, 2013, in Mallorca.
Marina Port Vell, Barcelona, already a popular yachting destination, is undergoing a transformation. In consultation with captains, owners and the wider superyacht community, the marina will be able to cater for yachts up to 180m.
The marina again sponsored the event at the Albatros level aiming to raise $25,000 in raffle prizes to commemorate the event’s 25th Anniversary. Through Marina Port Vell’s outreach, the following companies have donated items for the raffle: BWA, Chelsea Clocks, Decker’s, Electric Tuk Tuk Company, Eurostars Grand Marina, Evolution, Global Services, H10 Port Vell, ISS-GMT, National Marine, Ricky Tollenare, Smallwoods, St. Tropez Rocks, Van Allen Group, and the W Hotel.
Marina Port Vell’s support also included sponsoring a specific golf hole, contributions to the event program and raffle tickets.
