Maersk Wins Two Multimodal Logistics Awards

 Maersk Line wins Container Operator of the Year
 The Company also gets the award for Best Container Shipping Line of the Year in the category North India - Africa Trade Lane at the Northern India Multimodal Logistics Awards 2016

Mumbai, 16th March, 2016: Maersk Line India wins Container Operator of the Year & Container Shipping Line of the Year – North India – Africa trade lane the Northern India Multimodal Logistics Awards 2016.

These awards were conferred to Maersk Line India at the 7th edition of CONquest 2016, conducted in association with Northern India Multimodal Logistics Awards on 11th March at the Le Meridien hotel, New Delhi.  Mr. Julian Bevis - Senior Director (Group Relations South Asia, A P Moller Maersk), received the awards on behalf of Maersk Line.

Present at the award function were leaders of international shipping and logistics who had gathered to celebrate the industry’s success stories.

Commenting on winning these awards, Mr. Franck Dedenis, Managing Director, Maersk (India and Sri Lanka) said, “It is a proud moment for us to win these awards. These awards are a validation of our continued focus on improving customer services and experiences.  It is also recognition of our commitment to the India growth story. Northern India Multimodal Logistics Awards 2016 are among the most prestigious awards of the maritime sector, which acknowledges distinguished performance amongst companies and individuals. All major shipping, port and logistics providers participated in this year’s awards.

They are assessed on various parameters such as  company’s  performance and YoY growth, volume handled, commencement of new services, schedule Integrity and Customer Satisfaction. Winners are selected by an illustrious jury comprising of the leading lights of the Shipping & Logistics Industry.
