Maersk at 16-month Low after CFO Departure

March 20, 2018

Maersk's shares down 4 pct at lowest level since November 2016.

The company says CFO Jakob Strausholm has decided to leave the company after only 16 months in the role. His departure comes after Maersk decided to separate the finance role from its IT and digital transformation function.

Maersk shares have fallen 37 percent since July last year, as declining freight rates and protectionist measures have dented investor sentiment.
