LUKOIL Makes First Bulk Delivery in Novorossiysk

February 18, 2014

Since January 2014, the marine lubricant specialist LUKOIL Marine Lubricants Ltd. offers bulk supply of lubricant main grades in Novorossiysk, Russia’s main port on the Black Sea. On January 15, 2014 the first large order of Navigo 70 MCL was successfully delivered by barge.

Novorossiysk is one of Russia’s most important export seaports and regularly frequented by a large number of cargo ships. Until recently, lubricant supplies were not available in bulk in this port. Vessels were able to bunker in Novorossiysk, but had to call at another port or Istanbul Roads for lubricant supply. This almost invariably resulted in longer routes and waiting times for the ships, going hand in hand with elevated costs for the ship owners.

For this LUKOIL Marine now offers a solution: The new option to receive lubricants in Novorossiysk does not only enable customers to save time and money but makes logistics considerably easier as well.

Ship owners and agents can place their lubricant orders for Novorossiysk through Lukoil’s central email address ([email protected]).
