Lloyd's Register Energy provides insight into operational integrity at the 2014 Australasian Oil & Gas Exhibition and Conference, February 19-21.
The event will showcase Lloyd’s Register Energy’s (LRE) capability in the oil and gas sector, enabling visitors to meet its experts and find out about LRE’s end-to-end services and unrivalled portfolio of technical expertise.
“LRE is, without question, a market leader in offshore validation and verification not only in Australia but also the U.K., Canada and New Zealand as we continue to grow and develop our core skills,” said Jeff Baker, LRE’s Compliance Technical Manager for Australasia.
The addition of specialist support services brought into the fold of LRE with several recent acquisitions in U.S. and Europe, including WEST Engineering Services, and in September 2013, with an investment in senergy, is delivering increased service provision for clients in the Asia region faced with an increasingly complex regulatory and safety conscious environment.
“There will always be some level of risk associated with offshore and onshore energy production,” said Baker. “But we can make operations safer by helping our clients manage and minimise risk. Our drilling integrity services and our risk consulting business, combined with our more traditional compliance, asset integrity and inspection services, offer the world's most comprehensive suite of technical services to owners and operators of energy facilities.”
These new capabilities can apply expertise and technology to assist the development of oil and gas fields. LRE’s suite of core technical services centre on subsurface, well engineering and operations, site survey and geo-engineering, facilities development solutions and power engineering, which are complemented by software and training products through to pipeline and onshore power generation services and total supply chain management.
