Kleven Wins Rem Offshore Construction Vessel Contract

Kleven gets contract to build it largest subsea construction vessel yet for Rem Offshore.

The vessel is of a MT6022 from Marine Engineering in Tjørvåg,

The design is for a length of 108m and a width of 22m, with accommodation for a total of 110 persons. The ship is equipped with a 250t offshore crane that can work down to 3000m ocean depth, a 7.2m square moonpool, and 3 ROVs (2 Work, 1 Observation).

The new building will be delivered in the first quarter of 2014.

Kleven say they now have 14 vessels in the order book, at a value of almost NOK 7-billion.
