Kaunonen Appointed Kalmar's President

Antti Kaunonen, Doctor of Technology and MBA, has been appointed President of Kalmar, part of Cargotec, as of 1 July 2016. He will report to Mika Vehviläinen, CEO of Cargotec, and be a member of Cargotec's Executive Board. Kaunonen currently holds the position of Senior Vice President, Automation and Project Division in Kalmar. 
 
"Antti has a wide experience of global industrial business and automation. His background is a great fit with Kalmar's strategy to combine software and equipment seamlessly together and offer customers solutions that support their operational performance. I'm pleased to welcome Antti to lead this global team," says Mika Vehviläinen, CEO at Cargotec.
 
Olli Isotalo, President of Kalmar and member of Cargotec's Executive Board will leave Cargotec to take up the position of CEO of Patria. "Kalmar is in a very good shape. I want to thank Olli for his magnificent work during his many years with the corporation and wish him the best of success with his new challenges," says Mika Vehviläinen.
