SMU-DNV International Cooperation Centre

Shanghai Maritime University (SMU) and DNV have signed a strategic partnership agreement to establish the “SMU-DNV International Cooperation Centre. The objective is to further expand and deepen the existing relationship between the parties and thus advance the development of the Shanghai International Shipping Centre.

According to the strategic partnership agreement, Shanghai Maritime University and DNV will use the SMU-DNV International Cooperation Centre as a platform to strengthen cooperation in the areas of competence development, training, maritime research and development, scholarships, etc., thus contributing to the growth of the Shanghai International Shipping Centre.

At the same ceremony, Jörg Beiler was appointed visiting professor of SMU by Yu Shicheng.
