Greene’s Energy Group (GEG), a provider of integrated testing, rentals and specialty services, has appointed Tracy Cummins as director of business development within the rental and products business unit, announced President Frank Mathews.

Based in Houston, Cummins will develop, review and report the rental and products business unit’s visions and strategies. He will also guide corporate decision-making regarding the implementation of strategic commercial and operational plans. Regarding profitability, Cummins’ role includes supporting management by maximizing short, medium and long-term success.

Prior to his appointment, Cummins was global director for Total Depth Technologies within the Drilling Optimization Group at Weatherford. He held various positions with the company for more than 15 years.

Cummins studied business administration at the University of Louisiana-Lafayette. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).
