Great Lakes Awarded Lower Miss Dredging Contract

Houston-based dredging contractor Great Lakes Dredge & Dock has been awarded a contract from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' New Orleans District for Mississippi River dredging in Plaquemines, La.

Great Lakes was one of two bidders for the project, winning the contract with a bid of $22.1 million.

Work is expected to wrap up by December 17, 2023.
