GOST Names Kane Chief Technology Officer

Marine security, tracking, monitoring and video surveillance systems company GOST (Global Ocean Security Technologies) has promoted Brian Kane to the position of Chief Technology Officer.
 
A founding partner and GOST Board of Director member, Kane will, in his new capacity, will be responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of the company, including the development and implementation of strategies for new security technologies for the global maritime marketplace.
 
“Brian was one of the founders of GOST over 12 years ago and is the backbone of our organization,” said Jay Keenan, president and CEO, GOST. “He has been involved in every aspect of our product lines including developing our ‘to market’ strategy, overseeing the development of our award winning apps, writing our manuals, training thousands of installers, and has also been intimately involved with overseeing GOST’s social media. We know that this appointment is long overdue and will help our brand continue to flourish.”
 
Kane was recently appointed to the Board of Directors of the National Marine Electronics Association (NMEA).
