Expro’s Cameroon Team Safety Milestone

April 12, 2010

Leading international oilfield service company Expro has achieved another safety milestone after it recorded 1,000 days without a lost time incident (LTI) at its base in Douala, Cameroon.

More than 15 personnel work at the base which has been operational since November 2005.

The achievement follows the recently-announced success in Expro’s Australasia region which recorded four years with no LTIs and was awarded the influential IFAP/CGU Safe Way Achiever Award at Gold level.

Expro has won the Oil & Gas sector award from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) for the past four years in succession, in recognition of its international safety standards and performance.
