With year-on-year membership growth exceeding 15 per cent, WCA Family has continued to expand its membership support and services staff.

On 1 February Reha Erman joined as a regional manager for the Americas, having spent the previous seven years as director of sales for The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA).

Erman acquired extensive knowledge of the airfreight industry during his time at TIACA and built strong working relationships with freight forwarders, logistics providers, airlines and shippers.

“I am delighted to join the world’s most successful logistics network. WCA’s impact within the industry, and its culture of innovation through a range of exciting products, benefits and services, provides a tremendous opportunity for me to use my skills to assist the membership,” said Erman.

WCA Family President, David Yokeum, said that adding experienced membership support staff would help the network expand its range of inclusive benefits. “We are delighted to welcome Reha to WCA Family. We now have over 4,700 member freight forwarder offices in 187 countries around the world, and ensuring that each company receives the highest level of support to help them grow their business and expand into new markets is vital. I am sure that Reha’s skills and enthusiasm will prove an asset to the organization as we continue to add more benefits and value for each and every member company.”

WCA Family now employs over 90 staff across seven regional member service offices around the world and offers independent freight forwarding companies the most extensive portfolio of benefits and networking opportunities in the industry.
