Exova Names Ure General Manager for O&G Labs

Testing, calibration and advisory services provider Exova has appointed Campbell Ure as general manager of its Edinburgh and new Aberdeen laboratories.
 
Ure, an engineering business management specialist, brings experience in delivering multimillion-pound projects and overseeing organizational change programs in a number of industries. In a career spanning more than 20 years, he has held senior engineering management roles with Oceaneering Umbilical Solutions; Tarmac, Aston Martin and, most recently, Rolls Royce. 
 
In his new role with Exova, Ure will lead the operational teams working on oil and gas and industrials testing in the company’s Edinburgh laboratory and its recently opened flagship Aberdeen facility. He will be responsible for operational delivery, commercial management and developing the provision of technically demanding services to Exova’s customers throughout the U.K. and Europe.
