Their Highnesses’ vision of making Dubai the focal centre of the maritime industry in the larger Middle East, South Asia & North Africa region & a leader in innovative & cutting edge maritime technology has enabled me focus on a sound & sustainable strategy for the business, in the development of maritime center of innovation and excellence clusters in UAE in eliciting global partnerships to develop future innovative technologies & fuels.”

This recognition also vindicates our overall strategy to focus our business in the oil, gas & energy sectors which is where the major growth lies in the immediate & medium term. In 2014 we saw a total of about 236 new tankers with a total value of US$ 8.3 billion being delivered with the average value of the top 5 new building order books being almost US$ 1 billion each. The value of the top 10 tanker fleet owners by nationality is estimated to be around US$ 155 billion & a large majority of these represent countries to who we provide services on a regular basis. Both these factors & a continuing demand for these products bodes well for the future growth & ongoing sustainability of our business” he added
