The Chair, Board members and staff of the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) are delighted to advise that Danny Broad has been appointed by the Australian Government to the Board of ARENA.
Mr Broad has commercial management experience in the power, civil, construction and rail industries and is joining the other four Board members, Greg Bourne (Chair), the Secretary of the Department of Industry, Glenys Beauchamp, Judith Smith and Martin Hoffman.
Mr Broad will be helping ARENA deliver against its $2.5B mandate to improve the competitiveness and uptake of renewable energy across Australia.
ARENA is currently managing a portfolio of more than 200 projects worth around $3B spanning the entire commercialisation pathway.
