Coast Guard Foundation Raises $1.2 Mln

Last night the Coast Guard Foundation held its 36th Annual Salute to the U.S. Coast Guard in New York City. The event raised $1.2 million to support important Coast Guard Foundation programs such as scholarships, the Fallen Heroes program and relief to Coast Guard Members impacted by natural disasters.

At the event, the Foundation presented the National Award for Heroism to the crew of the Coast Guard Cutter Bertholf and recognized Morton S. Bouchard III, President and CEO of Bouchard Transportation.
