Choice Names Mackey Business Development Manager

Choice Ballast Solutions announced that James “Jim” P. Mackey has joined the firm as Business Development Manager to further develop key accounts and cultivate new business worldwide.
Mackey joins Choice from a career spanning more than 30 years at Hyde Marine. During his time with Hyde Marine, he was responsible for the North American, as well as offshore service vessel and cruise ship market segments and was part of the research and sales team that developed the Hyde GUARDIAN ballast water treatment system in the early 2000s.
Mackey has a wealth of knowledge in ballast water treatment systems (BWTS) and retrofit installation. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Naval Architect and Marine Engineering from the University of Michigan.
