Chen Named General Manager of WHSS China

Wilhelmsen Ships Service announced that Michael Chen has accepted the role as General Manager for Wilhelmsen Huayang Ships Services China (WHSS).
 
Based in Shanghai, Chen takes up the role immediately, replacing Captain Bi Yuping, who leaves the company after a decade.
 
Starting his career with the Wilhelmsen group as a vessel operator in 2005, Chen has been working as Agency Service Manager for China for the past five years.
 
With a naval background, following the completion of his studies at the University of Jimei, Navigation Institute in 2000, Chen sailed as a deck officer holding Chief Officer license prior to joining Wilhelmsen.
