ChartCo Names McNaney CTO

Maritime digital data and compliance services supplier ChartCo has hired Peter McNaney in the newly created executive role of Chief Technical Officer (CTO).

McNaney will be responsible for expanding ChartCo’s research and development team, integrating future product acquisitions and continuing to develop the ChartCo product suite. Technical support and easy access to ChartCo’s maritime platforms will also be part of McNaney’s remit.

“We are committed to driving forward our acquisition strategy and the development of our market leading range of products and services, so it is vital to have on board someone who has the necessary experience to help us deliver this,” said ChartCo’s CEO, Martin Taylor. “[McNaney’s] appointment places us in an even stronger position to meet the changing demands of our customers.”

With a technical background spanning over 30 years, McNaney brings experience at director and board level as well as in product innovation and digitalization gained in industries such as pharmaceutical and IT.
