Change Recruitment Achieves MLC Standard

Change Recruitment Group announced that it is the first independent recruitment company in the U.K. to achieve the quality status which is gained by receiving a Declaration of Conformity to the Maritime Labor Convention.

The Maritime Labor Convention (MLC) 2006 came into force August 20, 2013, and has led to greater employment protection for the majority of the world’s seafarers and Change International, the global division of Change Recruitment Group, is the first recruitment agency in the United Kingdom to achieve the requisite quality standards, having been audited by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency.
