Bristol Harbor Group, Inc.(BHGI), of Bristol, RI, recently completed design plans for modifications to Trico Moon, a 210-ft platform supply vessel (PSV) for Trico Marine Services Company, Inc. of Texas. Trico Marine Services and Deep Ocean Engineering, Inc. performed the modifications in Mexico, which included the addition of a habitation module, as well as subsea equipment on deck.

The installation/addition of the temporary habitability module to the port side of the cargo deck and design modifications to install Deep Ocean AS (wholly owned subsidiary of Trico Marine Group) Remote Operating Vehicle (ROV) spread to the vessel included review and development of structural, safety, life saving and sanitary upgrades to the vessel. All plans were reviewed and approved by the American Bureau of Shipping, and the vessel’s Certificate of Inspection was increased from 22 to 33. Trico Moon is currently supporting diving operations off the east Coast of Mexico.
